Craigslist image thieves!

Well, and I think motive matters. I've hunted up a particular smilie or birthday picture online... but I NEVER claim it's my own work... and most certainly don't try and make money off it. These people are doing both...

While me snagging a pic for a Happy B-day topic is probably still a violation I don't feel it's the same infringement... which quite likely makes me a big fat hypocrite...

Kat's Silly Chickens :

I feel a little stupid for asking this, but how can someone steal a photo from here, we have to use our upload link to post them here. I've not tried to snag a pic from here, just wondering. I don't want any of my chicks pics used for anyone else's sales either.

Sorry, now I feel really stupid, they can right click as Save as...

Yep!

Most folks think if you find an image in a Google search, it's for everyone to use freely, which is not the case, of course. Someone was using my Suede on their website advertising their BBS Orpingtons. They were also using a crossbreed I gave to lockedhearts, who looks sort of Ameraucana-ish (he isn't at all, but he is blue--no one would guess his parentage) as a BBS Ameraucana.

Nice! How much for the kitty?

That pic was given to me a long time ago by a member here. I love it!

So...it's not your cat???
