Some states yes, some no. Yes in Oregon where this apparently happened. I had to look it up.

Looks like he was cutting the corner short. If you go to .22 it looks like he was going to turn right into oncoming traffic. We was going to be on the wrong side of the road after he made his turn.

The question is do you think the driver ever new the cop was there an if so did he know in time?


Also about this section of the law which is very close to Ga law I am use to.

He may have been but he looks wide enough to me

He does have his blinker on but its hard to see in the video. I would not expect to me passed on the left on a double yellow an my left blinker on.
