Incubator is empty.. want me to stop by and add these to my collection
andalusn has hatched a couple batches from me already, she has my large fowl. Oh yeah, and now some bantams....and some Ameraucanas....LOL!!!
Where does it end? I REALLY want to try the LF again...especially after seeing that roo at Monroe & Stevenson!
But I'm too scared....
maybe one day I'll have an air-conditioned coop and I'll try again!

Whenever it gets hot enough here that they are panting mine get a rubber grain pan full of ice, and I put a mister on them - they hate it but it works!

I am in SW WA, hatches have been good and so far we have not been too hot here so all seem to be doing well. If I keep up this hatching of chicks.. see them on line at the link below, I am going to have to share some when they are older

an AIR CONDITIONED COOP? Gee I hope my chickies don't catch wind of this.
Mine are getting AC... a few says ago the temp and heat index was 128 degrees I lost 14 girls that day despite fans, shade ice water and cold watermelon ... so that coop is getting AC so they can go into if they want to...I am not having birds dying trying to stay cool in the shade of my front porch ever again.
