Sweetie, I don't think your eggs caused all this and you have nothing to appologise for

That sounds too much like punishment! Nobody took your eggs so go sit in the corner!

I think there is already a rule (I could be mistaken) where if the eggs are not taken in a certain time frame you have to offer something else, revert to the previous offer, or pay the shipping on the next trade (or something like that ... I am too lazy to go back and look

I do not think so either ... I think it will be better in a month or two when more people's chickens start laying better. Until then, I think we just need to have patience with the snags and allow mother nature to catch up

(just another opinion ... and I cannot repeat on this board what my family says about opinions

I to had thought about taking the WL eggs from Arab and having them shipped with the others I am getting from her but there again all I would be able to offer would be the same 2 breeds I have offered before so have just sat here quietly watching. I agree with rizq about limiting the times you can trade I think if you do that at this time with a lot of peoples birds not laying you will really kill what swapping that is going on. JMO

Here, lets get this moving again. jmhappycowboy, if you'll take the WL and offer some bantam ee's again, I will take your ee's and offer some Black Australorps.
Deal?

I know on the other thread people got really impatient a lot. It's basically a fun thing folks. There is no harm in having to wait a bit. I guarantee you that this spring it will pick up quite a bit and setting a bunch of rules now will really hamper people wanting to participate later. Grumbling about a particular breed will only make others with other breeds less willing to participate. Who knows? Maybe no one will like what I have to offer either. Then I'd have to check the thread only to see grumbling about my eggs from my birds that I really like. Imagine what that feels like.

I'm not agreeing with this. Some people only have one breed or like me the only thing that is laying like crazy is my SLW. I don't know why you have to cause a fuss everytime the swap line is not moving.
