How do you introduce an injured rooster back into his flock?

A rooster can handle 10 hens. Any less and the poor girls get overbred and physically damaged. The last thing you need is too many aggressive roosters. Unless you plan to have separate flocks one rooster each and 10 hens.

We plan on keeping Eagle and one of our Rock roosters.
They are all the same age but one of my rock roosters is huge and he knows it.. lol the other one is calm and sweet so we've decided to keep him.
I let Eagle back out with the flock today and he is taking up for himself so I'm very pleased.
His eye looks so much better and he is eating and drinking good.
