I have a Cream/Chocolate Sizzle Roo. I was getting mauve colored chicks from my blue hen and I get paint chicks from my black paint hen who also has one small brown spot on her poof. Some chicks look like they have a brownish paint to them. Some also come out with brown spots on their head! Will these guys be sex linked ? So far all the chocolate chicks I get seem to be pullets and all the black chicks are almost always male. I’m not sure about the other ones I rehomed. What do you guys think?
Here’s a pic of him!

The only sex-linking silkie combo I know of is a Chocolate rooster and Black hen, will produce Chocolate pullets and Black roosters, but there is so much more science to it beyond that, which I don't understand, such as barring, dun, etc.

Here is a thread that seems helpful, and someone posted another link in one of the replies that also explained more. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/mauve-silkie.1517172/
