Cream Legbar eggs.

Folks this is a Sale thread. If you don't like what you see, move on. If you want to have a genetics discussion, this is not the place. If you want to have an argument, this is really not the place. This thread has been cleaned up.

Hi Ralphie, what do their eggs look like? I have four 9-month-old girls that have been laying for about 3 months now. Still laying small eggs and the color is a very pale green, almost white. Not happy with the eggs at all and only one has a crest :(

Your roosters are very nice looking! What do the girls look like? Thanks!

I have Cream Legbar eggs for sale.

I will be selling them in half dozen lots. Those are the shipping containers I have and should give the best chance for making it through the mail.

These are very cream birds, I have culled the Creole gold from the breeders for the fall hatch. Of course, creole can happen, but hopefully not.

The cost is 25 bucks including shipping. Shipping cost are around 19 bucks so you are paying about a buck an egg. I have a test hatch in the incubator now and am getting pretty good results. (it appears around 90%)..

No Guarantees on shipped eggs though.. Good luck on the hatch...

BTW I expect the Father and a brother to these eggs to win Best of Breed at the Mn State Poultry show this fall. ( We are hoping to have a Cream Legbar Qualifier there for APA recognition.

Where r u located I am interested in some ccl eggs. If you still have some ava.

Are you still selling these? I might be interested soon, just waiting for my 2 batches I currently have to see where I stand numbers-wise. I don't have any auto-sexing breeds so these guys would do nicely.

Hey all, I will get some pictures of the girls as soon as I can.

I have been a little ill lately so things have been sliding a tad.

I have some older pictures but not newer ones.

This is one from last November's show. The newest chicks have less chestnut on them. I am finally have a rooster that is taking that out of them. The comb is legit under the SOP's but I personally do not like the flop.

Again at last fall's show. The tail set and body type is nice, I am happy with it, as I said I am finally working on color now. I will develop a Creole line and a cream line out of these, if the goo d Lord gives me the years and health to do it.

Here is a cockerel I showed last year, he is a little light in the keel but overall I was happy with him. As you can see I had a lot more Creole Gold in them last year over this years birds. The crest is extremely small in this one, luckily the SOP only requires a crest and has no size to it. It is one of the problems I see with the requirement for a large comb and a crest. I would prefer a slightly smaller comb so the head has room for a crest. (my personal view).

And two of my faves, the white Pullets I showed last fall.
I love my whites!
