Thanks! Sometimes the threads get so long I'm afraid my question might even be answered in there somewhere but it'll take reading until next month to find it! Which ill do! It'll just take longer :-)

The females will get the head spot. If i remember right its in the british sop that the females will get a light small headspot.the well defined head stripe is the key for female

Here is the EE. I think my EE hen is an OEG x EE. The cross with my CCL roo didnt make that much of difference the baby looks just like his momma. And maybe its due to the OEG but this chick had a well defined head stripe with no head spot but i think this is a boy. the comb is getting bigger and looked pinkish the other day.

I would like to say that the only reason your birds look like that is because they have dominant Birchen in them... you see wiltype e+ is recessive to the birchen ER e allele... so these birds are ER/e+ why are they white? well they get this gene from their Buff laced parent.. These birds hatch all white correct?.. thats because Birchen chicks with dominant white are all white... see the following post on a Buff Laced Plish chick SOURCE: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/386146/buff-laced-polish

and the reason your birds were mostly white untill adulthood is because thats how Birchen birds develope.. take for example the Birchen Marans, the cockerel is mostly black(except hackle) right untill adulthood then his shoulders start to get color(silver, or Red on Black copper marans) the reason they are not laced or partially laced is that the lacing genes need it to make a mostly black bird into a laced bird need to be homozygous , but what genes are those? Db/Db(dark brown) Co/Co(Columbian) Pg/Pg(pattern gene) Ml/Ml(Melanotic)..... the reason the birds show little color on the hackle is due to Melanotic, melanotic will turn that area into all black and then Dominant white turns that into all white

Well, the 7th and final CCL x GLW is out and another GIRL :ep So as long as these are indeed autosexing, and the light brown headspot does not indicate a boy - I have 7 out of 7 girls, LOL! My camera battery is dead and I don't have any more but I managed to get one terrible picture, LOL!

looks like a girl to me.... BUT 7 females out of 7 hatches seems abit odd, tho the numbers are not so high as to say improbable..... ...... I would not be surprice if you got a few INCOGNITO Males in there... and would be intrigued as what may have coused these males to lack proper headspot on what is basically wildytpe chick down...

I was very confused by that because I did not see the male down color call for a head spot in the sop i could find but the head spot seems like a strong male marking.
y'know -- it is really strange that it doesn't talk about that blotch/blob of light color on the head..... I have an original color plate from Punnett's day of stuffed chicks that he was showing all the different colors of down on -- and we are all pretty sure that all the ones he identifies as male have the head blob. It is strange that no attention gets/got called to that aspect of the down in the SOP.

Thank you for that description and picture that helps a lot. Would it be wrong per the standard to exclude females that had a little light head spot like mine from breeding?
One of the things that is a bit unusual, is that the Brit. SOP does call for a white headspot on the female. You will definitely train your eye to differentiate between the female and male headspots so that you will know instantly. The clear chipmunk stripes over the female rump - (strangely the Brit SOP doesn't mention eye-liner either) and the diffusion of the male stripes are their cues.

For my part -- I always look for male head blob and it has been there in every male I have hatched, and the female stripes - the eyeliner on female and lastly diffused stripes on male.

congrats on the chicks.
