When I first posted that I was hatching CCL roo x Golden Laced Wyandotte nicalandia mentioned they would be autosexing (can't remember the genetic reason) and when they hatched I was told all girls. Steen said he thought the one with the light brown head patch might actually be male, but nicalandia said the spot would have to be white. BUT in the update most agreed #1 indeed looks male and its strange "he" has a straight comb.

I lost one CCL x GLW because of apparent neurological issues - I believe she was chick #3. Here are the other 6 plus one little yellow WL mix and 3 Marans mixes that were hatched in the same batch. Group shots followed by individual chick pics.

Here is the first chick that hatched #1 seems to be developing a straight comb. I get a roo feeling from it but it could just be the difference between seeing a straight comb versus rose comb.
