Cream Legbar Hybrid Thread

Pics
I previously posted a pic of one of my CL mixes. She is the sweetest little thing! Here she is again with a pic of her beautiful green eggs!

Very nice!

What is she mixed with?
That's a good question! I hatched a bunch of mixed CL eggs from chiqita. Their daddy was her CL rooster Orlando and the mothers were EE, CL, possible Marans. When the boys got old enough to crow, they moved to a pen at the farm. We ended up putting our layer flock in with them for a while. The layer flock consisted of BBS Langshans, 1 white Langshan, 1 barred rock, and 1 black sumatra mix hen. My guess is that this pullet's mother was the barred rock. She looked just like a barred rock chick at hatch. She does have feathered legs so I'm guessing that her father was CL/EE (Am/Marans mix). She has a pea comb and feathered legs. It is an interesting mix! I love having the green eggs in my egg basket! She hatched with my Pita Pintas and lives with them. She will probably stay with them because I can easily tell which egg is hers!

Orlando is my Baby!

I hatched him back when I was working on Cream Legbars. He is a good boy but a very loud crower....

Quote: Good afternoon and hello, Nicalandia. I am still on the learning curve with eWh and was wondering what you are seeing with her phenotype that leads you to the conclusion that she is part wheaten?

And Ronott1, since this cute little pullet is a Crele/CL x Crele bird, I was expecting to see that she is barred but I am not seeing obvious barring in the photo. What am I missing?
