I have a roughly 7 week old cream legbar which I was told are auto sexing and she was a she based on the dark colouring. Her comb seems so prominent though it makes me second guess. I am new to this breed. Thoughts?

Birds look way younger then 7 weeks, both, did you just get them?
Ok well all the chicks with a white head she said were the Roos and the dark heads pullets. It was a very clear difference but mine is definitely lacking a crest . Did you have yours as chicks?Neither looks like my female Cream Legbar. But then I've only ever had 1.
Maybe some other variety in the Legbar family?
Here are a female (on the left) and a male (right). Before the comb matures you should be able to see the cute little crest feathers on a female. When the comb comes in it will displace much of it. But early on it's REAL clear who is a female and who is a male.
