Cream Legbar Working Group: Standard of Perfection

This might have already been brought up before on this thread. Cackle hatchery has some very reasonable priced cream legbars for anyone wanting to start a line for themselves, or just wanting some sexed blue laying hens. https://www.cacklehatchery.com/cream-legbar-chicken.html

red leg band , cute little head .
what do you guys think ? the only one any way .

chooks man
Looks like he's gonna have a decent crest. Watch that comb as it comes in, there's often a war on Cockerel heads as to whether the crest or the comb will dominate

Would like some opinions, besides his comb what do you think?

It's difficult to tell much about him from these shots. His back appears to be quite short, giving him a too-high tail angle. It appears his wings may ride low, as well. How old is he? If he's young he may just need to fill out more, but I'd like to see more chest development.

I had a hard time getting shipped eggs to hatch this past spring so wound up ordering a big batch from Cackle. I culled a lot, probably 2/3s, for poor down color/autosexing markings, and then color issues as they matured. I also culled a few for crooked toes. Wound up with 6 decent cream pullets. High tail sets on all and low wing carriage on the males were the worse issues, but that seems common even among "breeder" birds. I'm satisfied with them, they started laying early and often, strong blue to slightly teal eggs. Have my first hatch with them in the brooder now, covered by a lavender male.
