Cream Legbars

Cool, I love regional names - still trying to figure out how to say euskal oiloa (my basque is kind of rusty)
Rusty? you speak Basque? Most people don't even know where Basque IS.....

Pronunciation Guide:

Please note several regional variants are given below.

Euskal oiloa:

You Ska Oleo
Youse Can Oil
You Ska La Lolio
Youse Cali Low Ah
and of course
That There Chicken You See Over There

Don't believe all you read... Y'know how they say that the Cream Legbar is a 'non setter'. HA!

Look at this, just a little pullet...she started her laying career about 51 days before she went broody, and she laid between 48-50 eggs in that time (I was gone a few days, and didn't coordinate with the chicken-sitters...so she may or may not have laid while I was gone...do you think she went into laying withdrawal because I wasn't there?) So besides being a fantastic start to her laying career, she has a chance to be a Mother Hen! --
