He is deep in the chest and the keel is full. I like the color on his hackles. That is the color I aim for. Of course, it will take a judge to tell me if I am close to what it should be.

He carries his wings well, and the back is long. The tail angle is not bad, IMHO, a tad high but not enough to whine about it. His head and beak set well together, he does not have a parrot beak like one of mine does...One which is not happy with ma after 15 minutes of my filing his beak with a finger nail file today...

The one month count down to the Canadian Valley Poultry Club Mega Show in Norman, Oklahoma starts today. This is the 2017 Club meet for the Southern Region of the cream legbar club. The entry deadline is October 13th. If you are interested in showing legbar at this show look through the catalog this week and mail in your entry form. There is a $250 award for the exhibitor that brings an exhibit from the furthest. If you have an interest in the egg contest please let me know so the club can reserve a table and set it up. I will be bringing 7 cream Legbars to the Minnesota show at Hutchinson. 2 cocks, 3 cockerels, and 2 pullets.

I am bringing 2 ugly beat down cocks, 4 cockerels, 3 pullets and 4 hens. One pullet is real small and shy. I really like her but she might have a heart attack if too many people look or talk to her.

She has been wormed, de-flea'd and de-mited and still gains no weight.
