Any early thoughts on those chicks though??
Way too early to tell anything besides that you have 1 boy the rest girls lol
As long as he is healthy, just keep an eye on him. He may surprise you later with a growth spurt! As long as he eats and drinks like the others, he should be fine.Hello all! I am new to the breed and have a question. Last month I hatched 5 cream legbar chicks. I kept 2 pullets and 1 cockerel and sold the other 2. At 3.5 weeks old now my cockerel is noticeably smaller than his sisters. Is this typical or just a quirk of the male I kept? And should I be at all concerned? These are not show birds or anything but I do want them to be healthy! TIA
Pic just because. Note that he isn’t quite as runty as he looks in this photo.
