Does that mean Jett is the only remaining member of the Holding Out Egg Club? Do I get negative contest points for that?

Jett is just the current President. I think that deserves bonus sympathy points. Chocolate and Cider will probably be joining her soon

Putty grey colored egg - sounds like an Easter experiment gone bad

My 2 Welsummer X CL are very golden CLs with one laying a green and the other a putty grey colored egg.

I remember Mr C saying that once his hen's combs folded over he expected an egg within a week. And his laid right at the 4-5 months age range. Lucy has a nice red comb and wattles but hers hasn't folded over yet...it might not. Best wishes for eggs.

They are Welsummers but look pretty young so cannot tell you much more on confirmation. Right now the male does not have the correct tail angle but the could be just the angle of the picture. You know chickens always pose so well for you when you need to take a good picture of them.

Hi those are beautiful birds I bought some eggs and out of 7 4 hached which was great since they came from CA mine are not very old is there a picture somewhere so I can see what they are supposed to look like, I hope mine are as pretty as yours and I got 3 girls and 1 boy very lucky I think, once again your birds are beautiful
