Surprisingly difficult for me to determine what, exactly, counts as a point. :-/

Here is an earlier picture of James as he has since gotten frostbite on his comb. I'm guessing 7, as that back bit has since become the blade. I think.

Ya know, I have also wondered in general how the points are 'officially' counted. I get the back blade and sometimes it has a spike but I don't think that gets counted since its on the blade. Then a the front of the comb, sometimes there are a few smaller points but they are not prominent like the spikes in the middle. So where do you begin counting? Does anyone know and APA judge that could give us a short tutorial on roo combs?

1.How many points does your Rooster have.

I have seen everything from 4 to 7 points with 6 points being about 80% of what I have seen.

This one had 6 nice points. There is a small point in the very front that is mostly covered by the wire.

Here is his dad who also has 6 points although the last point is not well separated from the blade

If you can see the tiny points in the front this one has 5 points (otherwise this is what 4 points would look like).

Here is his brother who also had 5 points.

This one looks like 7 points, but again the separtion on the last point from the blade is not really clear.
