Cream Legbars

Good to know. I have been following the auction for a little while now and have been seriously debating on bidding, I was waiting til the last min. I have been hesitant to bid though. At first I thought the auction was for all chicks from the newest line but it is a mix from all there lines and chicks wont be banded.
Some while back, I think GaryDean26 mentioned that they stopped banding the chicks because of the legbands getting caught in the shipping material and resulting in harm to the shipped chicks.

I've ordered (and paid for) 4 females/2 males from GFF last October and asked for Jill Rees line. After a few miscommunication emails, Jenny finally emailed me that the JR line 1) wouldn't be avail til the spring, 2) I will only receive 1/3 JR chicks, others will be from Line D and 3) "the JR birds are nice, but in need of some new blood". Or, this is what I remember it said (I tried to find the email from her but don't hv it for some mysterious reason!). I'm sure hoping my $$$ investment will be worth it!! I will be very disappointed if I end up w/ the same kind of birds I've been culling!

That does sound a little frustrating. I understand them not having enough Rees chicks to fill all orders but it's so hard to pay so much money for chicks that will not meet breed standard. Between a rock and a hard place for both sides...

Hi! I am interested in purchasing some Cream Legbars for the Easter Hatchalong. Is anyone in this thread selling crested ones? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I got mine, a lovely crested that just keeping laying and laying no matter what the weather or craziness around her at Hi View Farms in Dripping Springs Texas...that woman knows more about chickens that anyone I know.
