Cream Legbars

a young lady gave me 7 "ameracaunas" laying pullets and hens but I don't think these girls are amerucanas at all!! I took some pics and it looks to me like they are cream legbars, can anyone hel me to identify and or confirm my thoughts?
She looks like she might have some Huastec in her, with that topknot. Huastec roos also have the rose comb and wattles, although they don't show up in the photos of the hens

Re: rumpless- in my research roughly 1:1000 chicks are naturally born rumpless. It is a deformity of the lower spine/hip area and non-genetic caused. It should not transfer to offspring but you won't know for sure until you try it.

Knock it off you guys! you will give texas CLs a bad name -- No, seriously now, I'm really sorry that you didn't get the full package.

This is the first I have heard of rumpless -- so Applegarth in 1987 bred to Araucana - UK has both rumped and rumpless varieties, I really doubt that a gene could be recessive and carried forward for 17-years. Hey genetics experts - is that possible?
perfect "package" comment!

I was tempting "fate" with my post but worth repeating, thanks for your post.

My initial "research" suggests my cockerel fits either the "Dominant incomplete" or "Recessive" type of rumpless chicken rather than the "accidental". Confirming what is visible with someone that has more experience would be helpful, beyond that may be very difficult, even with offspring to look at. I have posted in the "rumpless" thread, hoping for other input.

Yes I know we spoke about it but thought others with the same questions could use the information. For those people here is the link I shared with sol2go:

That's too bad, good luck with your new adventures..you are near Austin right? You may want to list them in the Buy-sell-trade here on BYC.... Someone in your area needing CLs may welcome him with open arms.

I think Nomanack did a digest of the Cream Legbar Working Group Standard of Perfection page at one point. It might be time for a Digest of the all the Legbar threads. :)
