$100?? Wow! I bought a Cream Legbar here in the UK a few weeks ago for £9 GBP which is about $15. I guess they must be very rare where you are.
I sold some of my extra chicks for $20. I see a 2 month old pair going go $100 on craigslist.

The post this was referencing was from 2011. They are a lot more breeders these days, so the price is generally less.

A friend of mine just sold a trio for $50. Considering that 2011 was $100 - (and jaseyboy1986 was right about the rarity then, as chambe94 pointed out ); they have held value pretty well.
Don't you think everyone needs at least one Cream Legbar in their flock?![]()
you have very good taste in the selection of chickens for your flock!!I agree, my Cream Legbar is my favourite member of the flock and I'm considering getting another.
Mine needs a buddy she is 8 weeks old right now she is in the transition coop with 2 Pita Pintas and a Delaware her age but Im afraid they are boys so they wont stay long enough to make it to the flock. The jury is still out on the Del though.Absolutely! My Legbar are the sweetest girls.
