Are there any other photo? From here his tail looks like it's at a decent angle, he doesn't have much colour on his wings which is good but his wattles look huge! But I think this could be remedied if matched with a small combed female with crest, I don't see any crest but the comb looks straight, I can't see well enough to comment on the spikes and blade of the comb but it seems fine. I would prefer him to be a bit longer in the back. I can't really see his beak but his legs look relatively yellow. Overall I think he's quite good but I am an amateur compared to some of the people on this thread, do you know how much he weighs and do you have any photos of the female?
I woke up to 5 pipped Jill Rees Cream Legbar eggs! I set 40 eggs. I'm anxious to see how many have hatched by the time I get home after work! Exciting!!!![]()

Congrats! One of my CL eggs has pipped also!
Sorry only pic I got. He may be gone by this weekend. Wasn't ready for adult males yet. If he is still around in a week or two I might go for him.
You are talking about down colors? or colors of the adult?Back to the discussion of color. Reading the original description of the Cream Legbar (see http://www.ias.ac.in/jarch/jgenet/41/1.pdf) , I wonder if its like the Jaerhon where the "gold" is a darker variety and the "cream" is a lighter variety. It could be that we get wonky colors because we are breeding for the dark variety in males and the light variety in females. Just a thought.
