Greeting to All. I bought these two little guys from an add in CL. The add said Crested Cream Legbars The seller told me she had to many of them so she was reducing her flock. They are now about 12 weeks old. I never had this breed so I don't know if they are true CLBs or just mixed. What do you think? Thanks for the input

Looks like a CCL. They are sweet birds and in my experience so far quieter than some other breeds.

Years ago and I was surprised

The hens are still young
The hen in the background is just a laying hen
In case you think it's a cream legbar
Anyway I'm new to getting the breed

I think that your CLs are beautiful.....you will have to post a lot of pictures of them so we can keep track on this side of the 'pond'. Thanks for postin these.

EGGWATCH IS OVER!!!!!

Paula laid her first egg today. Light/pale green, 1.5 oz. (The first photo makes it look darker/greener than it is, so I'm also posting one taken with it in a white bowl).





I agreed that in return she could receive the attentions of her "long distance" boyfriend, Dumble, beginning this weekend. So, Lissa, overhearing me, squatted a full wings-out squat for me for the first time today. Seems she wants some Dumble-action as well. Jenny is a bit behind - she still thinks boys are icky.

They look like too different eggs. That just shows how the egg color can be influenced by the background.

Beautiful Chickens! Can't wait for mine to get that big..... they are growing like weeds but I am so anxious to see them grown. I better stop wishing for that..... their coop isn't ready! Thanks again for the pictures.
