;o) -- so you will put up pictures for us -- right?Hi, I realized I never updated this. sorry! They coloring was just darker at first. They have lightened up significantly which is a huge relief!! Thanks everyone.
Super nice pullets! Those are gorgeous yellow legs too! Thanks for posting -- and how great that you got exactly what you want.I'm behind again by 10 pages. It always seems I fall behind, but I get so busy this time of year. New foals and all the problems that come with that. I know you guys were discussing combs and head feathers a bit ago. Figured I'd post a few updated pics.
These are my lightest girls. I love all my birds. I probably spend more time sitting with the Legbars and studying them. Because of this they lay next to me and so on. But these light girls, my favorite. They were a big want for me. Of all the variations in shades, the parents on these girls caught my eye. I kept coming back to them, finally broke down and bought hatching eggs. This is all I got, but better than nothing.
Like night and day. Here's my "darkest" girl.
I am hooked on these guys. They're getting so close to being older birds finally. Dark hen is just 22 weeks. The light girls are I believe 19..
