I wonder what are the breeds you have that are endangered? I have often pondered on the merits of breeding endangered chicken breeds, perhaps they are not fancy enough(like silkies which is all they have going form them as they have awful production traits) or not productive enough. But that could be said about many breeds that are not endangered like the OEG, which basically look like the RJF ancestor and are not really productive enough to warrant their keep beside their game nature

Ancona ducks
Green peafowl
Java chickens
Nothing fancy. Good productive breeds. Figure I may as well help in any way I can. Just a hobby.

This thread, & my other one following thread of the same project brings me back sad, stressful memories. People were harsh, & I was just starting out. I've had very bad anxiety while deciding to come back here.

Don't stress! If you feel like someone is being harsh or cold, SAY SOMETHING! A lot of times, it's just a normal comment or reaction that translates (or just "reads") poorly in a text-only format. It's easy to infer the wrong thing when you can't see facial expressions or hear voice inflections. If you question a motive or meaning, the other person usually apologizes and explains. If they continue to harass, report 'em! The Admins are VERY good about nastiness!

They never apologized, because they believe in what they said towards me. I've reported the posts made, but nobody got in trouble for it.
