Just curious where she's getting her genetic knowledge from because seems every time something comes up she goes with the most unlikely scenario or is so far off with the simplest things.
Barred rocks barring is genetics 101 so why jump to the transverse barring or not understand sex link barring at all?
I don't mean any offense either but I know they take my every post as being offensive so no need for me to tip toe.
Just very strange as it seems she has jump to the back of the genetics book and skipped all the basics.
Always makes things harder then they are or looks past the most likely to the most obscure or impossible.

Lots of impossibilities when it comes to breeding chickens and genetics. You can't create passed the genes you have to work with.
Passion can't make up for genes your bird doesn't have.
Passion can't make genes into something they're not.

From what I just read upon barring genetics, lacing, and pencilling come from the barring gene.

In this case, barring is not creating a new pattern, it's just altering the pattern under the barring. I've seen it on my own barred crosses.
