Creating Experimental Black Crele Chickens (Different Genetics, new variety)

Cute. What do you think of the chick's black, and white mottled feathers?
Mottling is recessive, so it won't show up in first generation crosses, except for maybe as a few white speckles. The pattern on your chick is his juvenile colors. One of my silver duckwing OEGBs, which aren't mottled, had the same thing.

The same chick now (sorry for the poor quality picture):

The comb isn't red, it's peachy. Thought peachy meant pullet.
Well, all three of the OEGB chicks in my last post were cockerels, and they had smaller combs than your "pullet".

For fun, here's some of my Silkies.View attachment 1794303 View attachment 1794306 Father, and Daughter picture. I can't believe they told me I couldn't use him for breeding show Silkies, his daughter contradicts what they told me. She needs some improvement, but not much.
Any opinions on my silkies?
I would say they're pretty good for hatchery silkies, but still pet quality. The partridge looks the best to me, but I'm not an expert on silkies. For reference, here's a thread with some show quality silkies: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/ny-silkie-hens-currently-laying-for-sale.1263285/

I bought those show quality silkies who's been breeding them for years. I bought the hatching eggs.
Hatching eggs (or even chicks for that matter) are never ever guaranteed to be show quality. You can hatch 100 chicks from show quality parents and roughly only 10 (+/-) might turn out to be show quality.

I'll update again as it gets older.

They're only, 11 weeks old right now, still getting fluffy.
