Creating Experimental Black Crele Chickens (Different Genetics, new variety)

I get mine from TSC store. They're Chinese white Silkies. With Chinese silkies their combs vary from walnut, single to mixed combed. My sister has a broiler Silkie we got from TSC store one, or two years ago.View attachment 1812861 The broiler silkie is behind the other silkie on the ramp.
Why do you keep posting about your silkie being a "chinese" silkie like that makes it some kind of special silkie.
A chinese silkie is the same as any other silkie here in the states there is no difference.

Chinese silkies have a larger size, & occasionally have a red patch of skin amongst its black skin. Sometimes the red skin patch, or brighter combs are an indicator that they're from the original white skin silkie bloodline, that's been crossed with the original black skin silkies. Siamese silkies are the rare white skinned silkie bloodline, but are small, while the black skinned variety are larger in size.

You have a link to where you got this info?
"larger size, & occasionally have a red patch of skin amongst its black skin. Sometimes the red skin patch, or brighter combs" as well as single combs are all indicators of poorly bred hatchery silkies nothing more.

It's my own personal study. Plus if you cross the white skinned with black skinned silkie you'd get a medium breed with imperfections. I've been busy in the garden lately, & will get updates of my chicks growth, & color development as soon as I can. I can locate a link on Siamese silkies if you'd like?

There's very little information on Siamese silkies, and what I did find, I can't copy the link and post it due to a special permissions rule on the page.

What's your thoughts on my silkie rooster's daughter? I crossed my large silkie roo, with a broiler silkie hen.
