Storing our foodstuffs (grit, oyster shell, feed) in drywall buckets - new ones from local hardware. One drywall bucket holds about 20#'s of material - so two for feed with some in coop; one for grit; one for oyster shell. They stack nicely side by side and aren't too bad to move about or get open (although not true when hands are wet!)
These are stored in a Rubbermaid storage cabinet that was just taking up space now kids are bigger and dont' use outdoor sandbox type toys anymore (or water toys or scooters...).
The double wall seems to be keeping the coons out, it's locked with key - although they've left us alone now that the corn harvest is in. We'll see what happens when their desperation starts to hit end of January...so between the locked cabinet, drywall bucket sealed tight - not much smell comes through, and I'm in there often enough to discourage any rodents from taking up residence.
