The sound of the elevator rattling upwards could be heard from below.

"What's that?" Marie asked curiously, pushing a strand of hair out of her face.

David shrugged. "Lets go out into the hall, we might get a better chance of seeing whatever it is, there." Marie nodded, and they both walked quietly into the hall.

"Well, this is rather, erm, dissapointing." Marie said, looking around. David rolled his eyes and whacked his sister on the arm. "Hey!" She exclaimed, rubbing her arm.

A girl walked down the hall. Her light sandy blonde hair bounced on her back with each step. She pulled behind her a black suitcase. Her eyes were wide. A slight song followed her. She was pretty. She appered very shy.

The girl caught Davids eye, and he looked over at her momentarily. After coming to his senses, he cleared his throat and stood straight.
