Cree Farm Ameraucanas, Ninjas Marans/Crosses, & Serama Hatching!

I'm incubating Cree BBS Ameraucana eggs right now--due to hatch on the 21st. I have 16 in the bator, but I'm pretty sure 4 are infertile--when I candled, they pretty much as clear as when we started. I was just wondering how many Cree eggs you were hatching....?? Curious what kind of hatch rate they have.

Ninja & Monarc! I STILL have chicks pipping and hatching! NP sent me two Maran eggs and 1 hatched this morning. So I'm up to 5 NP chicks and 1 more pip. Some of my SQ bantams are hatching too!

I also have duccle and cochins in there too from a wonderful breeder... I am so excited about them!!! If i do have a good hatch, and i get roos and hens, the egg prices won't be dramatic like they can be. I got these eggs in a private swap so I see no need to charge big prices for them. So yes if you're interested just let me know I am so excited for seramas!

Eggcellent! Do think my Cochins or Wyandottes will be too big to sit on those eggs or should I wait for the bantams?

I'm crossing my fingers that the other Maran egg hatches. No pip on it yet. Monarc, I have a little "blackie" chick hatching out of an Orp egg too!!! It's "stuck" so I think I may have to help it later. It's been trying to hatch since yesterday.

My bator has literally exploded with chicks! I had 22 eggs total and I've got lots of fluffers running around and quite a few more pips on my SQ eggs too!

I live almost the whole way on the other side of the US so I already knew to expect losses from the trip... and then the heat spike it didnt suprise me at all. I am very happy with the two i do have

However both chicks i thought were dying...ARE FINE AND DANDY!!!!

Your cochins are they standards (i assume)? If so I honestly can't tell you. I'd think that if you ahd a really caring hen in either of those breeds you may be lucky with them sitting them. Tho i know bantams are the better bet they say

. THo wheni was a kid a LARGE broad breasted bronze turkey hen hatched bantam cochin eggs for me.........so consider that
