Eggs are coming at a phenomenal rate for this cold spell and time of year. They are laying 6 eggs a week each at the moment.

Hi! I am loving all this chicken info! I have 2 CCL cockerels and 2 Welsummer pullets. Do you believe your cross was sex-linked? I read on another thread that it should be, but from the original pic here, I didn't think it held true. I'm trying to decide if I should sell my cockerels or if there is some value in keeping them. I also have Orpingtons (jubilee and buff), Barnevelders, BBS Marans, a BC Marans, BBS Ameraucanas and a single lovely little blue Isbar (unsexed so far, but I think it's a female).

I was wondering if anyone had crossed a Cream Legbar rooster with Wellsumer hens and Lohmann Brown Hybrid hens and was wondering what the results were? What the resulting offspring looked like and the egg colours from the offspring??

Has anyone got any pictures?

I hatched 8 chicks last week from this mix.
I will update this as the chicks grow for anyone else who is interested in how the chicks turn out!

Thank you so much for sharing this and for the nice pictures, actually for the brown egges i have the lohhman brown hens not the welsummer and i was excited to see the results for them
