For some reason i totally missed the second pic (I was gonna blame it on getting old but I'm 16) It's saddle feathers are looking very roosterish to me. Verry pretty bird though!

It's hard to tell for sure, I can't really make out the saddle area in the pictures. But I'm leaning towards cockerel also.

Beginning to look a lot like a cockerel... and posturing / picking on some of the smaller birds, a little. I guess I’ll know for sure, soon enough!
