Tips on diet that actually truly work.
Fermented cod liver oil and high vitamin butter oil.
Real bone broth made with bones that have plenty of cartilage and fat left on them.

Bones should be from wild game or grass fed, if at all possible. Chicken bones are good as well.
Roast bones in oven to lightly brown them. Note, bones should be cut so as to expose the marrow.
Then, cover them in water, and gently simmer for 24-48 hours.
You can add real sea salt and some Italian herbs as well.
Drink broth every day.

Try to find a source for real raw milk and cream. Drink lots of it.

I have more info if you want it.
I can also put you in contact with a lady who cure her RA by eating the above, and other real foods.

THose of you having issues with gout, can easily ammend that, by moderating the candida overgrowth in your body.
No refined sugars of course, properly prepared grains, and a daily glass of real Kombucha.

My mothers gout disapeared in less then a week, and has never come back. No medication needed.

Oh, and above all, get rid of all the processed vege oils in your diet. Your body will thank you.

Nancy,
Hubby has Rheumatoid Arthritis, he was on Meds for a couple years but his Doc took him off , he does not have a lot of flare-ups but takes it easy in the cold and dampness.
Have you tried Aleve? Also, how about a magnetic bracelet? I know I wore one for nerve damage in my arm and it did help to some degree,, contact me if you want to try one (I sell them)
I think a Rhemautologist is a good place to start. And if you need help for Heavan's Sake let me know

Nancy,
I was tested for RA at age 13, came back negative. But all my joints pop and my fingers are crooked. I hold a pencil or pen between my forefinger and my middle finger. You use less pressure this way. It takes a bit to get use to.

I also have bad TMJ. My jaw joints on both sides have the cartilage in the wrong area. Any jaw movements are bone on bone. And on top of that both sides also dislocate. As you might imagine this causes lots of pain and inflammation. I have been to several specialists and their solutions were only temporary. I even asked a dr to remove my jaw.

I ended up reading about magnesium as a natural muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory. I will tell you it works. When I started I was taking 500mg twice a day. After awhile I was able to reduce it to 500mg a day and still have results. The only thing that can happen as far as an overdose is that it acts like a laxative. Also do not take it at the same time as a calcium supplement or anything with alot of calcium in it, as this causes you to not absorb as much magnesium. After taking it for about 2 weeks you should notice a difference.

Magnesium is also great for your bones and many other body functions! 75% of Americans are deficient in magnesium!!

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Well here's what happened to me.
1. had problems w/ hands while taking classes one of which was typing/keyboarding.
2. Went to ortho, had test for carpal tunnel and it said yes. Ortho says you need surgery, yada, yada, yada.
3. I said no (to much to go into) Did go up for prayer at church.
4. Got pair of those velcro braces and began to wear them to bed. (you get used to it.) Things got better.
5. Did some work (using my hands of course) things got real bad, fingers cripple up,hands hurt real bad.
6. Went to ortho, had another test, no carpal tunnel, "Chronic tendenitis". (glad I didn't have surgery).
7. Still wear braces to bed and at other times on occasion.
8. I have a wagon to drag water to my coop and any other stuff, feed, which I break down into cat litter jugs for a manageable weight. I use gallon milk jugs and fill the waterers at the coop. Only have two though.

So I suggest you wear the braces and modify everything you can. Avoid lifting or doing anything you can that will cause problems. Modify, modify, modify. Figure out ways to do what you need to.
My hands still hurt but not too bad. I just take it easy and breaks. My wife drives most of the time.
Break down heavy items in to managable sizes. I can't shovel snow so I have a big electric start mower and snow blower. I swear by cordless anything. Drill, saws, what ever I can get. Work in short periods take lots of breaks. Devise a managable routine.
Get a wagon or a powered cart. (They do have them by the way)

I have been a mechanic for 40 years. 10 years ago I started having trouble with my hands. Doctor told me to try vitamin D, 2000 units a day.
Have taken vitamin D ever since. If I miss a day or I can tell. I take 2 1000iu tablets at nite before bed. They are cheap. Good luck.
