I have Buckeyes, and at present have a flock of more than 50 (although once I cull out the extra cockerels it may dip below that number.)
I have also recently started a breed club for Buckeyes that has been registered with the ABA and APA, and we have Jeannette Beranger of the ALBC as our Technical Adviser. See our new website here:
Right now, I have young/intermediate flocks of heritage (non-hatchery) Delaware, Chantecler and Russian Orloff. I will have both chicks and eggs available in the spring of 2010.
I'm going to have a few extra Delaware Roo's soon.I have 7 chicks about a month old and I'm thinking 2 are little Roo's for sure and I will only be keeping one of them.I saw the parents and they came from a very nice flock.
I have 2 near laying age 1 4 month old Roo and these 7 kids in my Delaware flock right now. Warning they are addicting! Very docile big and beautiful.
Edited to add we have 10 small blue Andalusions as well.
