Critical ill baby, am starting to crack

Bigmomma, I was away from home all afternoon, but was thinking of Gaius and making prayers. Just got home and came straight here to check to see that he is out of icu and getting stronger!

I will keep praying, but maybe not worry so much now. I am so happy for you and your husband, and Gaius will love the chicks and the cute red henhouse. Hope you will keep us informed on his progress. You did a good job for your little one, momma!

Bigmomma, I just found your story now and reading as fast as I can, to know what happens. My heart was just pounding, I was so worried and nervous for you and Gaius and your husband. Thank the Lord, he is doing so much better. What a handsome little boy. I hope when he is all better - he forgets all the pain he has been through. He is a warrior of the best kind. Fighting shows he has the spirit. I feel so much better . I was praying for you all, all the time I was reading the story. As a mother I know you would do anything in your life to save him - that's what true mothers do.

Sending prayers and love, we are all with you in this.

So glad Gaius is doing better, and hope he gets to go home and meet his chicks soon!
It's amazing...we met Bigmomma and Gaius over a chicken website of all things, and we all already seem so close to them! There are many great people here, and we will continue to be with you, BigMomma!
Continuing my prayers for speedy recovery!

Bmomma, so happy to read that Gaius is improving. Thank you Jesus! So exciting that your church friends bought you a coop & hubby got some baby chicks for Gaius. God Bless you all.

He HATES the oxygen tube, keeps pull off. I do not make wear unless oxygen go low, or is asleep. I am glad he starting to show spirit.
Hi! I know he hates it (mine does too!), but he will recover faster and his body will not have to use so much energy to breathe. The energy can then help heal and drain fluids. Ask your care team what you should do and if the oxygen is still needed. If they say "Yes" then ask for help in keeping it on him. It will lessen the time your hospital stay.

I have been praying for you and your family! So very exciting for your family getting a house and chicks!
