Besides squares, what is everyone crocheting right now?

I'm trying to finish up a bedspread that I started over a year ago. But that's still squares, lol. I kept seeing other patterns that I wanted to try out, so I didn't ever work on the blanket much. But now I'm determined to have it done by Winter.​

I want to do a pin wheel quilt. I think they are neat. So after the grannys, I am starting the wheels. Lol

Oh I would love to sew a quilt. I have some quilts that my grandma made and I love them. My DD & I both have the sewing bug lately. I'm obsessed w/ wanting to make recyclable market bags lately. I must get some of my crocheting finished first. My unfinished project basket is scary!

Once I get back in the swing of things I'll work on the blanket I'm making for DD. It is going to be huge. It is going to take me forever. I also have a naturally-earthy mile a min afghan that is over half way complete that has just been sitting there forever. I have a toddler blanket for a nephew that I need to re-make. So sad....I completed the whole body of this blanket, edged it, had a friend do cross stitch of sail boats on it to match his room and everything and it got lost in the mail. I've crocheted some dish clothes for my sister to match her dishes she bought when she lived in Italy, but may make her some more. Of course there are a ton of stuff I want to make, but don't sit still long enough to complete them. Hoping to be more diligent this fall & winter.

I see everyone is getting busy on their afghan blocks. I have 8 done already in fall colors. I finished my granddaughters quilt except for doing the label and I think I'm going to embroider the label with my new machine. I'm just learning on it and not as good as I am crocheting. I have more time to crochet than a lot of you since I am semi retired and have no small children to take care of and my garden is finished for the season due to excessive heat. So don't any of you get discouraged. You'll have plenty of time to get them done. It would be nice if we had more join in but we have some time yet.

I have to finish up a baby blanket for a friend of the family. I have all the squares done, just have to do the final round and attach as i go, weave in & also still haven't decided on an edging! She loves the recieving blankets we bought for her, i just hope she'll love this blanket as much!!
