OK - I'm finally getting a chance to come back & post pics. I've uploaded a few pics from my blog since I can't find my thumb drive with the originals right now.

Here's the baby blanket that won 3rd place at the fair:



It says "Live, Laugh, Love, Dream"



This is the shawl that I made from the alpaca wool that my wonderful hubby brought me back from Germany! It won 1st place:






And here's the Log Cabin Afghan that I made, and it won first prize at the fair!

I'm glad there are people bringing this thread back. There for a while I could hear an echo.

Here's my latest project I completed:

Cute! It's great when we can find humor in something that would otherwise tear us down!

My grandmother was diagnosed earlier this year with early stage breast cancer. She still had to have a mastectomy, but only had to receive low-dose chemo for 6 weeks. God is truly awesome! She's doing amazing & is cancer free! I know she would love the hat! She's just that great about it all!

Don't you just hate it when you need just about a foot of black yarn and you have none in your stash

Walmart is the closest store that sells yarn and its 43 miles away! Guess I'll have to wait to finish my project

Cute! I love the shell stitch and have used it, or a modified version, on dozens of projects.
