Even though I raised two foster sons, I remember when my married siblings started having their kids and Uncle got to babysit. All I can say is that I'm their favorite Uncle, and that revenge is truly sweet.

hahaha you are such a pushover! It was more like...
1.Grab Alyssa, make her sit on the couch (she was trying to run down the hallway to escape, no such luck!)
2. Grab Caydence, escort to bathroom, make her stop screaming so I could see what was wrong, where blood was coming from. Wet washrag, wipe up smears... see nose, wipe, see gums, press super cold wet washrag to mouth, escort back to recliner. Go to freezer, grab the pig (icepack) apply to forehead.
3. Threaten children with being stuffed into oven if they dont sit down and calm down like I told them to!
4. throw mean looks at everyone for looking at me!
5. finish dinner
nope, not an accident. Alyssa was sitting in the recliner, Caydence got up there too, stood up and was trying to rock it hard. I got on to her, told her to sit, so Alyssa turns to grab Caydence and push her out of the chair. They both came down.
I think I liked sibling rivelry more with my brother then I do with the girls. At least with my brother, you knew how it ended. Me on the floor crying!

Someone else told me about Joe's being like that. Never ate there because I live so far a way from anything. hmm Our fancy restraunt is Applebee's. lol And I have to drive 40 miles to get there.

ha ha this reminds me of the show "Kath and kim" my DH loves that show. One of the lines from that show is, "Geeze Kim, we're not millionares! We cant eat at Applebees every night!"

My valentines day was good. Dh is getting better at it. I guess I just haven't given up hope yet that he will "get it right" We have also been married and divorced...to eachother....so it could be much much worse.

He got me chocolates, which I told him was only okay this one year b/c I am pregnant and not trying to lose weight ^_^

I told him I wanted flowers and the book His Needs Her Needs. He got me the His Needs Her Needs book but not the flowers. Instead he got me a book about the Dust Bowl!!

Actually it was a well thought out gift and I truly appreciate it. He knows I'm a history buff and have been increasingly interested in the Dust Bowl recently.

So I can do without the flowers. They'll die anyway. I imagine he will get me some tulips or daffodils for mothers day.

It's Our 24 th Anniversary

DH bought me flowers Thursday and Roses and Beanie Baby Rooster to the office yesterday

and tonight took me to dinner ...

See there is too still some romance left .







I hope everyone has at least a little bit of hugs, or kisses, or sweet stuff today

No prob Maple. I didn't know about it until some of the girls on here told me about it. I used one of the tutorials to help me learn how to make Amirugumi. (Crocheted stuffed animals and stuff)

Hey Okie...is the book called "The Worst Hard Year" or something similar? I just got it on Amazon, but haven't read it yet. It's about the Dust Bowl too. Sounds like DH put in a good effort for ya anyway!

Yes! "The Worst Hard Time" is what it's called. So far so good. It is laying a lot of ground work so far. Giving info about the area and that period of time and the time leading up to it. He did make a good effort.

I am happy with what I got for Valentines Day for sure.
