Great! I have some white and green and some bluish green ones. I have been planting orange azaeleas (sp) around the back deck. They are spectacular!
Some of my bulbs are trying to pop up.

I went out and covered them with mulch. It's too soon. Silly things.

Found a storage shed! And a big one at that! YAY!!!

Price is a little higher then what we were wanting, but, it is the size we need, and it is gated, the owners live on site. AND! BONUS! It is far enough away from us that I wont bother Jim with, run down to the storage shed and find/bring back ________ and ____ items! lol

TGIF!!! I've got a busy weekend ahead! DD's have B-day parties to go to, picking up a whole carload of Girl Scout cookies (

) and I've got a Saturday Horticulture lab to do!!! The fun never ends around here!

Karan: I'd love to come visit your "glow worm" sometime! I'm a Horticulture student and am close to getting my certificate in it. I took a Nursery Management & Operations class last semester, so I know a little about what you're doing! Big job!! Next time I'm in your neck of the woods, I'll give you a holler!

Those peafowl are sooo glorious! I am so glad you aren't getting rid of them forever. I hope someone comes through for boarding them.

Otherwise I might do something crazy like try to find a way down to Texas to get me some birds.

(I can't really do that, but ohhh how I wish I could)

hehehe Now you see why I've been so upset about having to move?! lol
I'm praying the lady that sold them to us, will allow us to board them (for a fee) for us while we get every last detail taken care of before the out of state move. I just need her to watch them, spoil them for about 3 maybe 4 months...

I'll help build a box to trasport!!! ANd fix a cubbyhole for the lizard too!!! lol And add me, I make a great navigator (you do understand snore talk right?) lol

LOL I would pack up and move the menagerie (which includes the family) if I could find me a farm of my own somewhere. I have to stop daydreaming for awhile though because DH doesn't want to discuss houses right now.
Pet Store being iffy for the lizard?

OMG Stephanie, those birds are out of this world! Beautiful!! If you are travelling this way to Maine, I'd love to have a feather or two! I'd be willing to trade a hot home-cooked meal for them... I'll even throw in a pound cake or something to take with you.
And definitely keep your yarn n stuff nearby in the meantime. Sanity is important - for you and the rest of the family! Since I pulled my crocheting back out in October, I've been able to quit taking my anti-depressant, and not had even a single day that I missed it. Even through the holidays - with family

and everything!

Oh,, Sk,,,,, I sure wish I was close enough
barnie.gif
,,,, I would make room to bird sit those beautiful peafowls for ya's

What would it cost to ship em??? I wouldn't trust risking their health that way any how.... Sure would if it wasn't so far away..
