Thank you! The only thing I wish I did differently is that I chose larger than a 5 mm hook, but that just makes it tighter, I guess.

Tighter crochet holds it's shape better.

I decided to try a simple DC lapghan with a giant hook and 2 strands of acrylic yarn (pink and white. 1 lb skeins). It's about halfway done.

The lazy wave lapghan is almost done. Just have to get one more skein of the Iris color for the last blue stripe (6 rows on the other side of the last orange stripe). It will be wider than it is long, but that is good for two people sitting together watching a football game or just for over the back of a couch.

Those look great! I did one pair of socks in a shell pattern, but I didn't do the greatest job on them. I can still wear them, but they're more like house shoes, really, being too thick for inside shoes. Did it with Bernat Cotton-ish yarn, the 50/50 stuff.

These are 75% wool. They should keep his feet toasty this winter
