The culture shock wont be as severe this time, I left here to be with him there when we first got togather. It was August 24,2001 til December when we left to come here. Talk bout culture shock, ya shoulda seen him when we got off here, the trees actually go down in size and height the further southwest you go! We spent Aoril 2005-June there with the girls, they loved it! I was in heaven, reminded me of my memories of England when I was a kid (born and lived there til I was 8, an Air Force brat) So this time, I'm learning about the winters in Maine. Yea! I get to see snow!

Weather was crazy here today. Had a tornado or several in the NW part of the city. Some homes were damaged and lots of businesses. It missed us. We are in The SE part. We did get some really good heavy rain though. Then a couple of hours later a very large tornado hit some towns SE of where we are and so far they have found three dead.

It half a mile wide and it was at night, and those are the worst tornadoes. You can't see them, the storm chasers can't see them, so they can't relay where they are.


Won't really know until daylight how bad it really is.


Wow so the other day DH sanded the wall for 12 hours, and I cleaned for 12 hours. MUST be that 2nd trimester crazy energy thing.

Got the wall sanded, now I'm ready to texture, and then we will paint. I will be so glad when we get the living room done. I was soooo tired, and still am today.

We got a new sectional today. We needed to get rid of the other couches. It was time for them to go, they were gross, and beyond reproach

What an amazing group you are!!! Skand, you are the most optimistic, positive person I have ever known, you certainly made lemonade out of those lemons, bless your heart, you are a trooper!! Does anyone where you are going have internet so we can keep up with you or do you think it'll be some time before we here from you all again once you move? Hope not, but we certainly understand internet to be a luxury...we love you, you have become the light of this thread..keep on shining brightly girl, Maine needs some of that glow!!!

SE I could put her in a soft sided suitcase cause I know she fits I had mine out trying to pack last week and she wouldn't get out
She's decided she wants to be called fee fee too, I don't know what thats about but I called her Sophie the other day and she said " No Ami I'mm fee fee. I told her that was a poodle's name.
I saw something on Regis show the other day about t he beautiful baby contest. I think we are going to enter her if I can figure out how

I worried yesterday when I saw that on the tv that is was in OK. Those Tornados can be really scary, I am soo sorry there were folks hurt and

I pray for those that lost their family members .
I was wanting to check on where ya was at in it's path, But my new computer at the office has a motherboard problem

Not even 2 weeks old and already have to send tech with new mother board.

Sure glad I got the extended 3 year in service warranty on it. But just 2 weeks

Oh brother

and I was out of the office 4 days last week

sick, soo Now I have that much More to do when it get fixed

I told them to send me someone to help me get things caught up too

Well gota get Noah to the Bus catch ya all later

HA! I'm so freakin spoiled, I'll turn this great answer to our dilema into a horribly wrong thing. We were talking internet the other day, Jim says, frost line is like 4 ft , and everything is frozen solid for a few more months, so there is no cable internet, no cable tv, but hey, we can get dial up! I know there is nothing seriously wrong with dial up, but man! I'm used to not killing the cat when I log on!

Ami purr, SHe just wants you to shorten her name, from Sophie, to fee fee, does her mom call her fee fee? I think its cute! Why not, I mean, she picked you out an original awesome name, let her pick her own too! My kids call their grandma Hey. But if you had to get that womans attention, you'd end up calling her hey too! BTW, Your on with the rest-hug-stop!

Okie, careful on all that extra energy! You might end up starting something you dont want to do, like cook dinner! Be careful with the nader cleanups around town. Hope Scoot is okay, where's Miami ok near you okie?
