Okie, Holding your work as normal, you start with a single crochet & then for the next sc instead of putting your hook in the stitch to the left, you put it in the stitch to the right. (We're talking right handed crocheting here.) Like I said, it feels awkward at first...it ends up looking kinda like you whip stitched the edge by hand.

ok I am almost done with my SS gift, its been so much fun.

Okie if I'm the ricipient of your gift I like everything and anything

Jen4 if I'm yours I like hot chocolate

I'll be working all day weekend on my SS and hope to get it mailed on monday!

Looks pretty flat to me...came out nice!

I made a bunch of dishcloths this year for gifts...got this neat Annies Attic pattern book at Hobby Lobby...basically thread doilies but using 2 strands. The first set I gave away ended up on her coffee table ("too pretty"), me, I'm just glad they're liked cuz we all know how people can be about crochet...gotta choose your recipients wisely.

Gee, I hope my SS chickie likes crochet...plenty of it in her box...which is on it's way today (priority mail)...................................................
