I thought I'd posted my likes but now I'm not sure. You're right, we all should have posted them again in case they got missed the first time. I think I said I liked anything country, and I like the color blue. I'm not fussy as long as it's not anything weird or gothic. I'm too old for that stuff. I like things home made and I like to garden. You have a point there....who wouldn't like some extra yarn? I crochet as well as knit and quilt. Yarn would make a nice SS gift. My SS gifts are finished. A bit of this and a bit of that. I'm sure curious about who has my name. How about the rest of you?

Oh I almost forgot! I was in another Secret Santa swap on here and I got my box the other day when I was at work. I was pushing my cart full of other peoples packages to my case to mark them for delivery when I saw a box with BYC secret santa written on the side of it. I grabbed it up and shouted, "This one is mine"!! The clerks always throw my personal packages in with my routes packages if they know I am going to be working that day.
I had to open it right then. My supervisor and several other people were standing around to see what all I got. There was a half apron made with chicken material, crochet purse with pens and stationary already in it, 2 diff. kinds of flower bulbs, and several seed packets.
I will get new batteries and take a pic. as soon as I can.

HI all. Been crocheting a little here and there. Still busy with the saddles and diapers so that takes up a lot of my time. I will post some pics of my projects when I get a few more done.
I just about have my SS box done. Can't wait. How fun. Have a great day everyone.

Oh! Elizabeth what a fantastic SS gift. By the way do we reveal who we are when we send the gift or do we leave it secret all the way? I've never done one before so it's all new to me and I guess I need to know that.

Decided to try to make an afghan stitch dishcloth tonight... bought the color winter berry, peaches and cream 100% cotton yarn last night. Its looking pretty good, but I dont like that it rolls up

Yea! I've got my SS gifts all wrapped, boxed & postage attached. I'm mailing tomorrow. I was worried that it was going to cost a fortune to mail cuz I couldn't squeeze the goodies into a priority box, but using my own box saved a buck twenty five (& it's not the lightest package either).

Jen, Can you try doing a border of reverse single crochet on your dishcloth to flatten it out? It's an odd feeling stitch to do, but it's kinda cool looking. (Its single crochet going towards the right instead of the normal left.)
