Awwwwww!!!! She is gorgeous!!!! Looks so huggable! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son.
I can understand why she is so special. We have 3 dogs. One is a shepherd mix. We think she might be shepherd/pincher mix. She has a lot of shepherd traits, but not as fluffy. She is very sweet and loves children as well. Actually she loves everyone, but especially children. Congratulations on your news of being a great grandma. How exciting!!!!
I just finished my second set of blocks for the fall swap. While crocheting tonight I was planning the baby afghan but still haven't decided on color/colors or pattern. That's half the fun. I sure hope great grandchildren are as much fun as grandchildren. I have 20 grandchildren now in ages from 30 to 1, but if I add my husbands then that would make 33 grandchildren and he already has two great grandchildren. Jay's dad is one of my son's that has passed away and I can't visualize him being a grandpa because I still think of him being young, but he would have made a good one. a good one
I keep hearing great things about rat terriers. Now my curiousity is up. I may just have to do a little research on that breed.
baustin that is so exciting!!!
Our grandchildren are still very young so we have a ways to go before we get to experience that but I sure do love being a grandma!

I can hear the emotion in that sentence.
Kim how did your fundraiser go yesterday? I'll pop over to the swap thread in case you already answered that question.
Did you do the same pattern or try a new one? OMG!!!! Our fall afghans are going to be gorgeous!!!! That is so fantastic to have so many family members. 33 grandkids & 2 great grandkids. That is amazing!!!! I hope I live that long to enjoy my extended family. My DD is 18 and we only have the one child, so I have a long way to go. We wanted more kids, but it didn't happen, but feel very blessed to have her. I think that's why we love filling the house w/ DD's friends.

I know it's never easy to lose a loved one. Both my parents are gone, a brother and all my grandparents. Miss all of them every day.
I feel the same way about our pets, b/c they are just furry children. LOL!!!

Sunny, We had one when i was little and when i got married i got one. She was the best dog in the world. She was never hyper, she minded. When she died it just killed me, when i think about her now i still cry. i love her and her brother the cat. Mr Bear. they died a yr apart on the same day. rat terriers are good dogs.
