I got some more done this weekend finally! I was hip deep in chores for awhile and finally got some time to work on them again. I am over halfway done though so I'm right on target for finishing by November.
Your German Shepherd looks like mine except mine has more gray hair. I hope to get my blocks in the mail this week. I have to go to PO to get a box. I don't think they'll fit in that big envelope.
Thanks! The beanie is one I got on my shower that came from Wal-Mart. I just dressed it up a little bit and it matches a lot of her outfits she has gotten so far.
I love it!!!!! I can't wait to hear about your shower. Since my DD is now 18 yrs old a senior in High School I have to live vicariously though others. Wish we could have had more kids, but it just didn't happen. I feel super blessed to have my one.
I tell everyone that the only eggs I have are in my nest box!

I have been playing catch up myself, since a lot got neglected visiting w/ dh's uncle when he was here. I was hoping to crank my squares out this week. I had planned on doing a little fall inside cleaning organizing the house, purging upstairs, and maybe planting some bulbs before it gets too cold, but we had a little water heater accident, so I will spend the week purging the basement.
Maybe at night I'll have a little time to work on them. I'm about half way done as well.

I am notorious for not finishing projects.
Queen of Procrastination w/ every aspect of my life.
I really hope to finish all the started crochet projects I have this year. We shall see.
Lol that's my goal too so far so good lol just have a couple big quilts that I know will take forever lol because I'm hand quilting them lol but other than those two I think I'm doin. Pretty well lol
I love it!!!!! I can't wait to hear about your shower.
Oh did you decide colors for your next afghan?
The shower was great! I ended up getting more large items than I had anticipated, which is wonderful! We got our car seat, stroller, high chair, and activity center plus clothes and baby supplies. If you want, you can eavesdrop on the Expectant Mother's thread here on BYC.
For the colors for the afghan: After putting different combos of colors together, I decided to go with light gray, honeydew (light) green, navy blue, and coffee brown. They look a lot better together than they sound. Plus, I think I've got the pattern picked out I want to use which involves different sizes of granny squares. I've got to finish my Grandmother-in-law's afghan first. I'm about 1/3 of the way done... I think.
