Crochet "Chat"

Light grey, honeydew, navy and coffee sound beautiful. Good luck on the afghan. Might you post a picture when it's finished?

The shower was great! I ended up getting more large items than I had anticipated, which is wonderful! We got our car seat, stroller, high chair, and activity center plus clothes and baby supplies. If you want, you can eavesdrop on the Expectant Mother's thread here on BYC.

For the colors for the afghan: After putting different combos of colors together, I decided to go with light gray, honeydew (light) green, navy blue, and coffee brown. They look a lot better together than they sound. Plus, I think I've got the pattern picked out I want to use which involves different sizes of granny squares. I've got to finish my Grandmother-in-law's afghan first. I'm about 1/3 of the way done... I think.

Hi. Can someone give me a pricing idea? I've crocheted some hats and scarves to donate to a fundraiser, but don't know what to ask as a suggested donation. Does $7 (U.S.A.) sound right? Also some dish cloths and trivets, maybe $3.50? I'm not firm on prices and am willing to take less, just need a place to start. Thanks.

Bleenie that blanket is gorgeous!!!!!

Alethea I wish I could be of help but I am lousy at that sort of thing. I think it depends a lot on where you are from. I had some for sale at what I thought was a reasonable price but I sold almost none! I then donated them to a charity group which then sold them for twice as much as I had listed them for and the lady said they were a huge hit! Folks were snatching them up left and right! So all I can say is... It depends a lot on your local market.

Oh, I had priced kids' hats at $5 but they sold them at $10, scarves they sold for $15 and baby booties were also $10, if that helps at all.
