Crochet "Chat"

Those hats are beautiful!

I am still working on my blocks for the swap...only 4 more to go. Then I am going to start on a couple scarves and hats for Christmas gifts.

I have been making some of Bleenies Beanies for donation, I have discovered I can use the homespun yarn by crocheting in the spaces instead of the stiches and it makes a nice fluffy hat! I use a J hook for homespun yarn hats and add a couple of extra rows of DC(I just try on the hats to see how many rows of DC to make) and I don't do the frontpost/backpost stiches I just finish last row with SC, I also don't do the HDC just DC. This way its not so frustating making the homespun yarn hats and it goes quickly instead of struggling.

And for all the hats I use the adjustable ring/magic ring to start the hats.

That sounds really pretty. I love the homespun yarn, but I haven't had much luck working with it. :(

I'm working on assembling some squares from the summer swap into a blanket, it is nearly done, working on the outside borders now. Getting excited about assembling the next set of autumn blocks when the swap is finished.
