Hi all!


We were out of town this weekend celebrating DH's b-day. We had a great surprise party for him and we all had a wonderful time. Unfortunately later that evening we found out that my DH's Mom passed away. It wasn't unexpected but we have still been dealing with family etc and haven't had much sleep in the last few days so I got almost nothing done on my squares. Hopefully I can work on them for a chunk of time tomorrow. Anyway just wanted to stop by and say "Hi!"

Thanks Kim! That means a lot. She and I got along very well. She used to say that she loved me so much just because I made her son so happy and she had never seen him happy before. I miss her already.

Your welcome! I'm sure you will miss her forever. I sometime still want to almost pick up the phone to call my mom to share something with her and she's been gone now for about 14 yrs. I know she is in a wonderful place, but I still miss her. It takes time to heal. I still get a little sad, but over time my siblings & I can laugh and share the happy memories. I sent you a message. That's really great you had a wonderful relationship with her.
