Crochet Granny Square SWAP ~ Fall 2011 (CLOSED!!!!)

Ooooh. I've been trying to decide what to get next myself.

I know! Sometimes I think I'm the only female on the planet that doesn't like pink. Now there are 3 of us, including Betty!

I think how it started with me was when I was younger I used to like it but it looks horrible on me! I tried to wear a very pale pink, thinking that would work, but every time I tried (all day long) people would ask me "Are you sick? Your skin looks so pale and yellow!" Well I do have yellow undertones and it seems that pink is the perfect contrast to make my skin's yellow tones stand out like a sore thumb!

Count me as number 4!!!

My mom loves pink and used to swath me in pale pink. I have black hair, blue eyes, and extremely pale skin. I just looked like death warmed over! I wore a dark pink shirt to work the other day (given to me and I had nothing else clean). My students kept remarking how it was the first time I have ever worn pink

I thought I was the only girl alive who has a strong dislike of pink! Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy for not liking it

Now I can tell them I'm not the only one.


Lindsey wants me to mention to y'all that she doesn't check in very often, but I keep her informed as to the general goings on. I check on here multiple times a day

I posted on the Crochet thread too, but what do you think of our first two tone square? One of the girls did it and brought it by about an hour ago to show me she was so excited!

I am so proud! We printed a bunch of instructions off the Internet, we can't see the videos at school unless I take my lap top and Verizon Internet connection. I just hope our stitches are ok. The square measures about 6 1/8.

Whew, ladies I am really tired today. I was too tired to walk down to the mail box this afternoon. I was secretly wishing that DD or DH would check it on their way home today, but they didn't. So I grabbed my flash light and trucked on down there in the dark. It was kind of spooky to tell ya the truth.

Something went scrambling in the woods away from me.

Probably a deer. Thanks goodness away from me.

Anyway....it was sooooooo worth the trip, b/c GUESS WHAT???? Oh yea another package has arrived!!!!
