Have you tried the Scrubbies yarn or anything like that? It’s literally impossible to see the stitches. I ended up with a knotted mess.
I’m sorry if you answered this before but what size yarn is the velvet?

The velvet is a 4 weight and the issue is the dark color I think

Yeah I have a difficult time with black yarn. Especially a softer yarn like Caron simply soft. It feels great but a nightmare for me to work with.

I have some milk cotton that I haven’t figured out yet. I just got some tension rings today. Hoping that may help

Some cotton yarn are difficult for me too, there’s not enough give it seems like. I do like lion brands 24/7 cotton. It’s a size 3 so it takes a while to make some bigger.

Yes but some of the bag-o-day videos are difficult to follow comparatively
